We are thrilled to announce that several members of our Bristol Care Homes team have been shortlisted as finalists in the prestigious Care and Support West 2024 Awards! This year, the Awards team received 191 nominations, and the 18 judges were deeply impressed by the outstanding quality and passion demonstrated by all nominees in the Adult Social Care sector.
We are proud to share that Marcia Ellington, Samantha Deighton, and Janice Rudge from our Activities Group have been selected as finalists for the “Activities/Wellbeing Co-ordinator” category. Their dedication to enhancing the lives of our residents through engaging and meaningful activities has not gone unnoticed. Their creativity, commitment, and compassion truly embody the spirit of care, making a positive impact on the well-being of those in care homes in Bristol every day.
In addition, Sarah Johannes has been recognised as a finalist in the “Community Care and Front Line Nursing” category. Sarah’s exceptional work on the front lines of care has been instrumental in providing high-quality, compassionate care to our residents. Her professionalism and unwavering dedication to improving the lives of those she cares for are truly inspiring.
The finalists will attend the Awards Ceremony on Thursday, 26th September, where we eagerly await the results. Regardless of the outcome, we already consider them winners for the remarkable difference they make in the lives of our residents. Their recognition as finalists is a testament to their hard work, passion, and excellence in care.
