Our staff and residents at Quarry House have recently had a cake sale to raise money for the Sense Charity.

The second fundraising event was a sponsored walk from Bitton Railway towards Saltford.

In the gorgeous sunshine, staff and residents strolled along the cycle path. They sang songs like “I would walk 500 miles” and “Lambeth walk.”

Brian, who used to volunteer a lot for many charities, found great meaning in Quarry’s fundraising. He is super proud to be a part of it.

Following the walk, the group took a well-deserved lunch break.

Sponsorships are still flowing in, and we are grateful to everyone who has contributed to this worthwhile cause.

Rhys Brown, son-in-law of Quarry’s home manager Tina, will be taking part in the London Marathon this month, running for this charity. We wish him the best of luck!
