Review Of The Month – Beech House

All the team at Beech are fantastic — I cannot rate them enough. My father-in-law had only been with them since 22nd May, but what a change in him! We as a family found it hard to say we could not meet his needs at home anymore, but after a few weeks in the hospital, we found a place at Beech House for him. He has put on weight and is participating in the daily activities — so lovely for us to see. He also loves the food, and nothing is too much trouble for the team.

At the same time, his wife was also in the hospital and at the end of life. Again, without issue, they got a bed for her too. This means he can see her daily before she passes, and we can see them both together. As they have been married nearly 65 years, this means so much to us all and as a family makes our journey smoother.

We know soon we will lose her, but we know she will be cared for, loved, and looked after with dignity till sadly she leaves us.

The support the team have given us as a family is very special – cannot thank them enough.
