Admin Assistant - Glebe House

  • Full or part-time considered, (min 30hrs per week)


  • c. £8.50 per hour depending on experience

We are seeking an administration assistant to support our Nurse Manager and Administration Manager with administration and accounts. 

You will be responsible to our Administration Manager and your duties will include: 

  • Answering the telephone
  • Creating and amending forms and other documents
  • Sage purchase ledger processing
  • Recording of petty cash transactions
  • Filing and other general office duties
  • Assisting with the general administration of the home

In order to be successful for this position, we would expect you to have the following: 

    • Experience of Sage accounts and/or purchase ledger processing
    • Good IT skills – a basic knowledge of Word and Excel is essential
    • A friendly outgoing character
    • A flexible nature and a sense of humour, as care homes are busy places where no two days are the same
